KATHMANDU: Currently, Nepal is under the partial effect of the western wind. According to the Weather Forecasting Division, the weather will be generally clear in the country’s mountainous parts today, with partly overcast skies elsewhere.
Light snowfall is possible in a few places in the Koshi, Bagmati, and Gandaki states, as well as one or two places in the remainder of the country’s high hills and Himalayan areas.
According to the agency, fog/mist will have an impact on everyday living, health, transportation, and aviation traffic in the Terai region.
The department advises that all required precautions and steps be taken to avoid the cold.
On Thursday, the weather will remain mostly clear in the hilly areas of the country, including the Sudurpaschim, Karnali and Lumbini States, while the rest of the region will be partly cloudy.
