Govt recommends President to summon federal parliament’s meeting on Feb 5

KATHMANDU: The government has recommended to the President to summon the meeting of the federal parliament on coming Feb 5.

The meeting of the Council of Ministers convened at Singha Durbar today decided to recommend to the President to convene the meeting for 4:00 pm on the same day, said Minister for Information and Communications Rekha Sharma.

Minister Sharma, also Spokesperson of the government, shared that the meeting also decided to form a team to hold talks with the government of Japan so as to finalize the draft agreement on concessional loan amount to over Rs 31.02 billion for the implementation of Koteshwor Intersection Improvement Project.

Furthermore, the cabinet nominated Dr Ashim Bhandari as the coordinator of the National Anti-Doping Agency as per the National Sports Development Regulations-2079 BS, Minister Sharma shared.
