KATHMANDU: Cimex Inc. Pvt. Ltd., the authorized distributor of BYD Auto Industry Co. Ltd., proudly announces the launch of the highly anticipated BYD SEAL in Nepal.

Set to revolutionize the electric vehicle market, the BYD SEAL represents a pinnacle of luxury, cutting-edge technology, and exceptional performance where “Innovation Meets Acceleration”.

Dynamic Design and Advanced Technology

The BYD SEAL is a dynamic and intelligent sedan that seamlessly blends athleticism with high-tech features. Drawing inspiration from the vast ocean, the Ocean Aesthetics design concept results in a visually striking and emotionally rich exterior.

The car boasts an exceptional drag coefficient of 0.219 Cd, showcasing its commitment to aerodynamics. BYD SEAL has a large boot space of 402 litres and a 53-litre frunk in the front end of the car to store goods.

One of the key innovations is the implementation of Cell-to-Body (CTB) technology, integrating the Blade Battery into the entire vehicle structure, enhancing safety, efficiency, and space utilization.

The CTB technology sets the SEAL apart, providing a torsional stiffness of 40,500N.m/degree, ensuring a superior platform for comfort, safety, and performance.

Power and Performance

The BYD SEAL features an 8-in-1 electric powertrain delivering 150 kW (203 PS), 230 kW (313 PS) in the rear-wheel-drive version and a combined motor power output of 390 kW (530 PS) in the all-wheel-drive configuration. With four driving modes – ECO, Normal, Sport, and Snow – the BYD SEAL caters to diverse driving preferences and conditions.

BYD SEAL Performance version comes equipped with advanced iTAC (Intelligent Torque Adaption Control), which optimizes power distribution, enhancing safety performance and driving comfort.

The BYD SEAL comes equipped with BYD Blade Battery and is available in two battery pack 61.44 kWh & 82.56 kWh. This coupled with high-power charging capabilities, ensures a range of up to 570 km (WLTP) and fast charging from 30% to 80% in just 30 minutes.

Luxurious Interiors

Inside, the BYD SEAL provides a comfortable and luxurious environment. The front seats feature ventilation/heating functions, and the rear seats are optimized for comfort with carefully designed angles and padding.

BYD SEAL has an oversized panoramic sunroof, providing occupants with an extensive view. The vehicle’s front doors are double-glazed with laminated glass for better safety and excellent sound and heat insulation.

Safety and Intelligent Technology

The BYD SEAL comes equipped with an extensive array of safety and driver assistance features. Standard in all models are Predictive Collision Warning, Automatic Emergency Braking, Rear Cross Traffic Alert, Rear Cross Traffic Brake, Emergency Lane Keep Assistance, Lane Departure Prevention, and more features.

The driving experience is further enhanced with Adaptive Cruise Control and Intelligent Cruise Control. In addition, further driver aids include Blind Spot Detection System, ESP, Traction Control, Hill Decent Control, Automatic Vehicle Hold, Intelligent Speed Limit Information, and Intelligent Speed Limit Control.

The BYD SEAL is equipped with a 15.6-inch rotatable screen featuring intelligent voice control, a 10.25-inch full instrument LCD panel, and integrated Apps including Android Auto and Apple CarPlay.

The 12-speaker Dynaudio Performance Audio System with premium quality sound, and smartphone wireless charging is another convenient feature. Cutting-edge lighting technology also provides a broader beam of light to assist visibility when driving at night, with High Beam Assist, Adaptive Front Headlights and Follow Me Home as standard.
