KATHMANDU: Bagmati State beat Koshi State by 64 runs in the Prime Minister’s Cup One Day National Cricket Tournament today.

Sujan Thapaliya scored the most 59 runs for Koshi State.
He faced 76 balls and scored four fours and three sixes. Additionally, captain Ankit Subedi scored 53 runs. He scored four fours and two sixes in 65 balls. Aashish Bhattarai scored 32, Sonu Ansari 21, and Hemant Rai 10 runs.
Bagmati’s Ishan Pandey claimed five wickets, while Surya Tamang took two. Similarly, Pratik Shrestha and Rijn Dhakal both claimed one wicket.
Prior to it, Bagmati, who lost the toss and were allowed to bat first, lost all of their wickets in 48.3 overs while scoring only 273 runs. For Bagmati, Aashutosh Ghiraiah scored 118 runs off 111 balls.
He hit 16 fours and two sixes.
Similarly, skipper Rit Gautam scored 49 runs, Ravin Joshi 43, and Pratik Shrestha 19 runs. Aashutosh and Rit added 131 runs for the second wicket.
Abhayash Timilsina of the Koshi State claimed three wickets, with Hemanta Rai and Kamal Khatri taking two apiece. Similarly, Phridosh Ansari claimed one wicket.
