Police’s second win in a row in the PM Cup

KATHMANDU: Nepal Police Club won in the Prime Minister’s Cup one-day national cricket tournament.
Pursuing a winning target of 167 runs, the police lost three wickets in 23.1 overs. Arjun Saud scored the most runs, 62, in Police’s victory.
He finished undefeated on 62 runs from 63 balls, including five fours and two sixes.
Similarly, Dipendrasingh Airi made an unbroken 38 runs. He scored 38 runs off 17 balls, including 4 fours and 2 sixes. Dilip Nath scored 31 runs from 31 balls, including two fours and one six.
Similarly, Kushal Bhurtel scored 12 runs, while Sunil Dhamala scored 16. Kamal Khatri of Koshi grabbed two wickets, while Sonu Mandal took one.
Before that, Koshi State made a total of 166 runs losing all wickets in 48.2 overs in the match at the TU Ground in Kirtipur.
Sujan Thapaliya contributed 150 runs for Koshi. He contributed the most 115 runs in 126 balls with the help of eight sixes and six fours. Similarly, Abhyash Timilsina scored 23 runs and captain Ankit Subedi scored 10 runs.
Sujan shared a 99-run partnership with Abhyas for the eighth wicket.
On the other hand, Karan KC took three wickets for Police, while Lalit Narayan Rajvanshi and Sunil Dhamala took two wickets each. Similarly, Rashid Khan, Sagar Dhakal and Kushal Bhurtel took one wicket each.
