KATHMANDU: Tribhuvan Army Club captain Binod Bhandari scored a century in the Prime Minister’s Cup One Day National Cricket Tournament.

Binod acquired a century for the army, which batted first after Madhesh State won the toss and decided to field at the TU stadium in Kirtipur on Monday.

Binod reached his century by hitting 89 balls on the opening ball of the 43rd over.

Army’s Kushal Malla scored 37, Imran Sheikh scored 26, Santosh Karki scored 42, Bhim Sarki scored 18, and Sandeep Rasaili was out for 0 runs.

Madhesh bowler Ranjit Kumar has four wickets to his name.
