Movie ‘Rangeli’ teaser unveiled

KATHMANDU: The teaser for the Nepali film ‘Rangeli’ has been unveiled, featuring accomplished actors Dayahang Rai, Arpan Thapa, and Miruna Magar in unique roles.
The teaser introduces the essence and characters of the movie, portraying Dayahang and Arpan as adversaries, while Miruna is depicted as a calm Tharu girl.
Directed by Arjun Subedi, ‘Rangeli’ is set to release globally on Falgun 25 (March 8), coinciding with Maha Shivaratri.
Arpan, Dayahang, and Miruna, along with Praveen Khatiwada, Ramesh Budhathoki, and others, play pivotal roles in the film.
The movie’s songs feature lyrics by Harak Saud, Arjun Subedi, and Sabin Singh, with music composed by Sushant Gautam and Hercules Basnet. Executive producers Jeetendra Khatiwada and Anuj Jung Thapa, producers Sansar Choulagai and Ramesh Bhattarai Vashishtha, co-producers Yuvak Karki and Shiva Shankar Chaulagain, and associate producer Vivek Khadka (Yolo) are part of the production team. Sushan Prajapati is a cinematographer.
The film is scheduled for a VIP red carpet premiere in the United States, and it will simultaneously release in several countries, including Nepal, the USA, Australia, Japan, Korea, and Hong Kong, catering to the Nepali diaspora.
In Japan, Korea, and Hong Kong, ‘Rangeli’ is being released by Ujjwal Guragai and UNA Entertainment, while in the United States, ‘Ekka Bassa Entertainment’ and ‘Live at Present’ are handling the release. OSR Digital is the digital movie distributor.
