Celebration of ‘Unity Day’ on Prithvi Jayanti as a positive step: Oli

KATHMANDU: CPN-UML Chair and former Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli praised the celebration of Unity Day on the birth anniversary of the nation’s founder, Prithvi Narayan Shah.
Oli expressed his appreciation during his attendance at the event organized by the Rastriya Prajatantra Party on the 302nd Earth Anniversary in Kathmandu on Friday.
He commended the Rastriya Prajatantra Party for organizing Prithvi Jayanti as Unity Day.
Oli expressed gratitude for the program, recognizing it as a positive initiative on the 302nd birth anniversary of Prithvi Narayan Shah, a key figure in Nepal’s geographical integration.
“We are thankful to them for the program that the Rashtriya Prajatantra Party has organized as Unity Day. He had done a good job,” stated Oli. Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal, Nepali Congress President Sher Bahadur Deuba, and other prominent leaders also attended the tea ceremony hosted by RPP.
