A Cyber Bureau official has provided information that two cases are under investigation, mentioning the names of six social media pages in a public announcement.
According to him, the police’s cyber branch has begun an inquiry.
Recently a photo of a girl is being published on social media as the girl who filed a rape case against cricketer Sandeep Lamichhane.
Her popularity soared after her old picture was shared from her Instagram page, making it go viral.
The Rastriya Swatantra Party has also suspended one of its activists on the charge of bringing out the picture of Gaushala-26.
