Bomjan’s trial for rape & murder case begun in Sarlahi

KATHMANDU: Ram Bahadur Bomjan, the defendant accused of murder and sexual assault, appeared before the Sarlahi District Court as legal procedures against him began.

The Sarlahi District Court issued an arrest warrant, and Bomjan was taken before the court to face the allegations.

The hearing on the case against Bomjan has started in the bench of Judge at the District Court, Sarlahi, Bishnu Regmi, said a record keeper Sadan Adhikari.

The Sarlahi District Court gave police authorization to detain Bomjan on allegations of murder and sexual exploitation.

The Central Investigation Bureau carried out the arrest on Tuesday, bringing Bomjan into custody for the pending trial.
