KATHMANDU: ISMT College has concluded a one-day ‘Job Fair’ program.

The event, which took place on Wednesday, included 21 companies.

250 students have taken use of the program’s facilities.

Basudev Basti, Head of Development at ISMT College, stated that the initiative was designed to ensure that ISMT college students do not have to look for work while attending classes or after they graduate.

He stated that the institution is undertaking a job fair campaign to acquire jobs for students from other firms as well.

He said, “Today’s ISMT College has organized the Job Fair, 21 companies including Nepal’s top IT companies, hotels, trading houses, business companies participated in it today.”

Other groups that took part in the event were Marriott Hotel, F1Soft, and Sip Prati Saurabh Group.

He stated, “Top companies such as Cellcom and PhonePay will come and interview our students and select them as far as possible; if not, they will be shortlisted and called to the company for an interview in the second phase.”

He stated that ISMT College provides quality education to students in order to prepare them for jobs in Nepal.

He stated that he had worked with numerous job agencies on this.

ISMT College UK has been in operation since 2011, in collaboration with the University of Sunderland, UK.
