Claims & complaints against candidates can be filed today
According to the Election Commission, there is a schedule of objections and complaints against candidates who filed their nominations on Monday.
KATHMANDU: Complaints can be lodged today against candidates who registered their candidacy for National Assembly seats.
According to the Election Commission, there is a schedule of objections and complaints against candidates who filed their nominations on Monday.
On Monday, 52 candidates from seven states filed nominations for 19 seats in the National Assembly.
There is a schedule to publish the list of candidates after examining the complaints against them on Wednesday and Thursday.
The names of candidates who wish to withdraw their names will be removed, and the final list of candidates will be released on Poush 27 (Jan 12).
Candidates will be given election symbols on Poush 28 (Jan 13). In this election, one/one polling station and two/two polling centers have been established in seven provinces.
Voting will be held on Magh 11 (Jan 25) from 9 am to 3 pm.
In this election, women, Dalits, persons with disabilities or minorities and other communities will be elected as members from various states and regions.
