KATHMANDU: The founder of the ride-sharing organization ‘Tootle’, Sikshit Bhatta, has been arrested.

The team of Kathmandu police complex arrested him on Thursday night.

He is accused of taking money from overall sales and not distributing it to the organization’s other partners.

A police complaint was lodged against him on the same charge.

Then the police arrested him.

According to the police, it has been revealed that Bhatta sold the total company for one crore rupees.

Tootle is the first startup in Nepal to offer ride-sharing services.

Currently Pathao and InDrive are also in operation.

The apprehended Bhatta has been transported to the district court for further inquiry by Kathmandu police.
