Prices of vegetables and fruits (with list)

KATHMANDU: The Kalimati Fruit and Vegetable Market Development Committee has publicly disclosed the prices of vegetables and fruits for today.

According to the committee, the prices for Nepali large tomatoes stand at Rs. 40 per kilogram, local small tomatoes at Rs. 12, ginger at Rs. 140, red potatoes at Rs. 35, and white potatoes at Rs. 26.

Similarly, local cauliflower is priced at Rs. 20, lemons at Rs. 120, dried chili at Rs. 480, green chili at Rs. 90, and green akabare at Rs. 400.

These public price disclosures are a part of the ongoing efforts to regulate and stabilize the market prices of essential commodities.
