Man held for murdering of his 28-year-old wife in Pokhara

KATHMANDU: A 36-year-old man, Ratna Bahadur Gharti, residing in Ward 29 of Pokhara Metropolitan City, was apprehended by the police on Tuesday on charges of murdering his 28-year-old wife, Rekha Gharti.

The alleged incident occurred in Takam, Ward 7 of Myagdi Dhaulagiri Rural Municipality.

The local police initiated the arrest following reports received from the Shishuwa-based Area Police Office, revealing the accused of Rekha’s murder at their residence in the mustard field.

Further investigations are underway as the police intensify efforts to gather more information about the case.
