KATHMANDU: The 25th edition of the Pokhara Street Festival commenced with grandeur and enthusiasm, transforming the streets of Pokhara into a cultural haven.

Initiated by the local clubs and Aama Samuha, the festival’s opening ceremony featured various cultural performances and traditional Panche Baja (traditional instruments) tunes, captivating the audience.

Held annually in the evening preceding the English New Year, this festival, organized by the Restaurant and Bar Association Nepal (REBAN), promises an array of cultural, musical, and entertaining events.

The festival is scheduled to run from Dec 28 to Jan 1.

The festival venue, spanning approximately 3 kilometers of the Lakeside area, witnessed a remarkable presence of local restaurants. The event provides a platform for nationally renowned artists and bands like Deepak Bajracharya, Rapper Lahure, Rapper Rajan KC, Shila Ale, Samikshya Adhikari, Badri Pangeni, Pashupati Sharma, Purushottam Neupane, Moksyha Band, and Mukti and Revival to showcase their talents.

In the festival, Rewan is collaborating with Ad Sathi and Swornim Entertainment as a management collaboration and with ‘Nostalgic-Three’ as a food court partner.

The festival promises an unforgettable experience for locals and tourists alike, celebrating the rich cultural diversity of Pokhara.
