KATHMANDU: The Employment Permit System (EPS) branch of the Korean language section has opened applications for those who did not pass the shipbuilding examination in the production sector.

Following the interim order from the Patan High Court, the EPS Korea branch has opened application forms.

They are requested to contact the Gwarko office of the EPS branch from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Poush 13 (Dec 29) of this month with a passport, passport-sized photo, entrance ticket for the shipbuilding exam, and the required fee.

The EPS branch had previously opened the application form for the Korean language exam in the production sector on Mangsir 19 (Dec 5).

According to the information, applicants who applied for the Korean language exam for other sectors were mentioned not to fill out the form in the production sector.

According to the information of the branch, 18 applicants involved in the shipbuilding sector, against the information, had submitted a petition to the Patan High Court.

In response, the Patan High Court issued an interim order on the Poush 5 (Dec 21) of the month, preventing the applicants from filling out the form and directing them to submit the application form.

Applicants in the High Court have been requested to contact the EPS office to fill the application form on Poush 13 (Dec 29).
