Yomari Punhi: Bhaktapur holding music festival

BHAKTAPUR: A music festival will be held in Bhaktapur on the day of Yomari Punhi.
Music Festival 2080 with contemporary, traditional and classical music is going to be held in Bhaktapur on the day of Yomari Punhi on behalf of Surilo Bhaktapur organized by Sangeet Graam Gurukul Nepal.
Sunil Lohala, the organizer and singer, said that a music festival will be held in Khwapachhen in Khauma, Bhaktapur, on the day of Yomari Punhi.
According to him, the music festival would be organized with the goal of generating a distinct musical atmosphere in Bhaktapur. We are attempting to perform contemporary songs and music on the same stage as classical music and traditional melodies.
He said that this is the first of its sort in Bhaktapur. He stated that the musical program, which would begin at 4 p.m. on the day of Yomari Punhi, will be unique.
According to him, they will hold this performance with the intention of maintaining such a musical program every year.
