‘Kumarji Aagya Garnu Huncha’ being staged in Sarwanaam Theatre (photos)

KATHMANDU: The staging of the play “Kumarji Aagya Garnu Huncha” written by writer and actor Ashesh Malla has started at Sarwanaam Theatre in Kalikasthan.
Since the 8th of Poush (Dec 24), the play prepared by the 19th batch of Sarwanaam Theatre trainees has been presented.
The protagonists in the drama, which is about violence against women, have questioned the aggressive inclinations of all eras.
As it is required to be proud of justice by standing on the breast of injustice, theater is attempted to summon for the purpose of pride.
Directed by Rasik Raj and Sheetal Thoker, the drama stars Rasik Raj, Sheetal Thokar, Suraj Parajuli, Aakash Jha, Bill Bahadur BK, Y.S. Paudel, Saraswati Dahal, Suraj Adhikari, Aarush Jung Saru Magar, Shu-Goon, Vidhyak Tilak, Alisha Tamang, Yunisa Khanal, Jeevan Raj Bhatt and Vivek Bhusal.
The choreography is by Alisha Tamang, the lyrics are by Manoj Bhandari, Suraj Sheetal, and Rasik, and the music is by Shansik Productions.
Nirmala Ghising has given voice in the song.
The drama will be staged every day except Thursdays at 5 p.m. and Saturdays at 1 p.m. from Poush 8 to 15 (Dec 24 to 31).
