KATHMANDU: The student orientation program of Aspire College located at Biratnagar-14 Malaya Road has been completed.

Aspire College, which is run as a partnership program of Kathmandu University, conducted an orientation program for the new students enrolled in BPH and BTech IT in the academic session 2023.

A total of 61 students attended the orientation at Hotel Soaltee Westend in Itahari, with 26 from the BPH program and 35 from the BTech IT program.

Bikash Adhikari, the institution’s Chair, stated that Aspire institution would become a model college and that no stone will be left unturned to ensure the fate and future of the students.

Just as BPH students in college got internships in various five-star hotels beginning in the second semester of their studies, they announced that they will start an IT firm in the near future to provide career chances for IT program students.

According to CM Basnet, the college’s administrator, despite the fact that it has only been in operation for two years, Aspire College has achieved remarkable development thanks to the extensive expertise of the directors and program coordinators in the field of education.

Discussing the monitoring and guardianship of the university, Chief Basnet said, “We provide students with the skills, ethics and technology-friendly education they need for the twenty-first century.”

Speaking at the program, Prof. Dr. Bijay KC, Dean of School of Management, said that he will support the students of Kathmandu University in their journey from admission to employment.

Prof. Dr. Balchandra Luitel, Dean of School of Education informed the students about the rationale and scope of BTech IT subject.

Prof. Dr. Luitel said, “We do not allow any student to be unemployed. The university is doing its homework for this.”
