KATHMANDU: The Department of Water and Meteorology has said that there is a partial influence of western winds in Nepal at present.

The weather will be mostly clear in hilly sections of the nation in the afternoon, and partly overcast in the rest of the country. Light rain is possible in various sections of Sudurpaschim and Karnali State.
Light snowfall is possible in one or two locations in the Koshi, Gandaki, Karnali, and high mountainous and Himalayan parts of Sudurpaschim State.
There is a chance of light rain in hilly sections of Karnali State throughout the night, as well as snowfall in Koshi, Gandaki, Karnali, and the high mountainous and Himalayan regions of Sudurpaschim State.
The department requests everyone to take necessary measures to avoid the cold as the temperature is dropping all over the country due to rain and snowfall.
