KATHMANDU: The NADA Automobiles Association has unanimously elected its future chair, bringing an end to the competition among three prominent candidates.

After a meticulous selection process, the designation for the next three terms has been determined, ensuring an uncontested presidency for the upcoming tenure. While the chair is decided, discussions for other posts within the working committee are ongoing.

Contenders Karan Chaudhary, Aakash Golcha, and Prakash Kapuri were actively vying for the post of NADA chair.

In a meeting involving former chairs, including NADA chair Dhurva Thapa, unanimous agreement led to the selection of Karan Chaudhary from CG Holdings as the chair for the current term, concluding debates among other candidates.

Considering the absence of a senior vice chair post in NADA, a special convention will be organized to establish this role.

Aakash Golcha has been unanimously elected to this post and will serve as the chair for the last term.

The composition of the new working committee will be disclosed during the 47th Annual General Meeting of NADA scheduled for Poush 20 & 21 (Jan 5 & 6).
