Brake failure leads to jeep accident, 13 injured

KATHMANDU: Thirteen people were injured in a jeep accident in Achham.

A jeep accident took place on the Mid-hill Pushpalal Highway near Mangalsen Municipality-6, near Thulasain.

In the accident of jeep number Bhe 1 Cha 2576 operated by Karbu Lama of Simikot Rural Municipality-3 in Humla district, 13 persons were hurt and one was slightly injured.

The injured are being treated at the district hospital, according to Deputy Superintendent of Police Santosh Pathak.

The vehicle traveling from Bajura to Surkhet abruptly ‘brake failed’ and crashed on the side of the road.
