Inferno engulfs under-construction ministerial residence in Bhaisepati

KATHMANDU: A fire broke out at an under-construction minister’s quarter in Bhaisepati on Tuesday afternoon, according to local authorities.

The incident occurred when a shanty inside the minister’s quarter caught fire, with stories indicating that it happened while the laborers were cooking. Police are presently investigating the cause of the incident.

No causality has been reported so far.

The fire that broke out at 11 am today has now been brought under control.
