Pedestrian dies in scooter hit

KATHMANDU: Tragedy struck in Kothimai, Kanakai Municipality-4, Jhapa, as a fatal accident involving a collision with a scooter, bearing registration number Pr 1-01-013, claimed the life of 65-year-old Karna Bahadur Rai on Monday evening.

Karna Bahadur Rai, a pedestrian on the road, succumbed to the injuries sustained in the serious accident.

The critically injured individuals from the scooter are currently undergoing treatment at B&C Hospital in Birtamode.

The police are conducting necessary investigations in this regard.
