27-year-old held on rape charges

KATHMANDU: A 27-year-old Bhakta Bahadur Sunuwar, a resident of Aiselukharka Rural Municipality-1, Khotang was arrested by the police on Monday morning on the charge of raping a 16-year-old girl.

It is said that Sunuwar raped the girl on Mangsir 27 (Dec 13).

Based on the complaint, the police stationed at the temporary police post Rakhawangde arrested him.

The police are conducting necessary investigations in this regard.
