Wild elephant terrorizes Manahari, destroys Home in midnight

KATHMANDU: A wild elephant has created terror in Manahari of Makwanpur.

A home in Manahari Rural Municipality-8 Simpani was entirely destroyed as wild elephants terrorized the residents.

Laxmi Bhandari, Makwanpur Police Spokesperson and Deputy Superintendent of police, stated that a one-story zinc and stone home in Manahari-8 was assaulted yesterday night.

According to him, an elephant invaded the local Ram Bahadur Tamang’s barn yesterday night, causing some damage.

After the elephant attack, the police, Nepali army, and people pursued the elephant into the jungle, according to the police.

According to Bhandari, no human lives were lost as a result of the elephant attack.
