KATHMANDU: Kathmandu District Court has started token system.

District Court Kathmandu said on Monday that it has begun a token system for orderly court and convenient customer service.

In an interview with the media following the implementation of the token system, the Chair of the Kathmandu District Court Bar Association, Advocate Ram Chandra Paudel, stated that the token system was implemented so that clients who come to the court do not become congested while receiving services.

He stated that the Kathmandu District Court should be made more technologically advanced, and that they have followed through on their plans.

He said, “To make the Kathmandu District Court organized and facilitated, the token system has been started in the Kathmandu District Court so that there is no crowding during the service. We have moved forward with the concept that Kathmandu District Court should be made a technology-friendly court. While entering the Kathmandu court for justice, this initiative has been taken to get justice at least in an easy way.

He said that citizens and service users will not get justice until technology-friendly courts are established. He said that from now on there will be no discomfort of having to stand up to receive service.
