RPP’s central committee meeting begins

KATHMANDU: The Rastriya Swatantra Party’s (RSP) central committee has begun a three-day meeting today.

The meeting will go till Poush 3 (Dec 19).

The meeting began a bit earlier in the morning, according to Mohan Kumar Shrestha, the party’s spokesperson and Head of Publicity Department, at the SR Banquet in Dhumbarahi, Kathmandu.

According to him, party president Rajendra Lingden gave a ‘briefing’ in the meeting on the present political scenario, the party’s strategy, and the party’s next course of action.

After that, there is a schedule to present the treasurer’s report.

Similarly, during the three-day meeting, there will be a review and group discussion of the geography-focused program, the party will conduct it in the near future, and the proposal related to the movement passed and approved by the Central Performance Committee meeting will also be presented for discussion, said Shrestha, the spokesperson and head of the publicity department.
