Clear skies expected in hilly regions, possibility of light snowfall in Gandaki State

KATHMANDU: The Department of Water and Meteorology has reported a partial influence of the western wind in Nepal.

While the weather is generally clear in most parts of the country, there’s a partial change in the hilly regions, with fog and mist observed in some Terai areas.

The afternoon is expected to bring clear weather to the hilly areas, including the Lumbini region, and the night is anticipated to remain clear in these regions.

The department also mentions a potential for light snowfall in certain high hills and Himalayan areas of Gandaki State.
