Rank insignia conferred on Lieutenant General Sigdel

KATHMANDU: Chief of Army Staff, Prabhuram Sharma, conferred rank insignia on recently promoted Lieutenant General Ashok Raj Sigdel on Friday.

The meeting of the Council of Ministers held on Thursday had decided to promote Sigdel to the post of Lieutenant General.

Sigdel born on Magh 19, 2023BS in Kapilvastu had entered Nepal Army as an officer cadet in 2043 BS.

He was promoted to Second Lieutenant in 2045 BS.

Similarly, Santosh Ballav Paudel was also provided rank insignia for his promotion to the post of Major General.
