23-year-old Dipendra died in bike accident

KATHMANDU: The motorcyclist was killed in an accident in Kanchanpur.

Dipendra Bhandari, 23, of the district’s Bhimdatta Municipality-16 Majhgaon, died.

According to police spokespersson and Deputy Superintendent of Police Prakash Dangi of District Police Office Kanchanpur, the accident occurred on Thursday night when a motorcycle number Ma 2 Pa 3169 lost control and collided with an electric pole on the Mahendranagar-Majhagaon road section of Bhimdatta Municipality-15 Gobariya.

Spokesperson Dangi informed that Bhandari, who was seriously injured in the accident, was taken to Mahakali State Hospital Mahendranagar for immediate treatment and was pronounced dead by the doctor.
