Court order not to implement the decision of the KMC to halt the sale of tobacco products

KATHMANDU: The Patan High Court has issued an interim order for the implementation of Kathmandu Metropolitan’s resolution to ban the sale and distribution of tobacco products.

In the lawsuit submitted by Shriram Towago Udyog, the High Court, Patan’s bench of Judges Janak Pandey and Brajesh Pyakurel issued an interim order prohibiting the implementation of the metropolitan’ judgment on Mangsir 12 (Nov 28) until the case’s ultimate conclusion.
