NRB’s announces to collect deposits worth 1,000 million

KAATHMANDU: Nepal Rastra Bank is going to collect deposits worth Rs 1,000 million on Poush 1 (Dec 17).

The Central Bank is going to collect the amount equal to that amount by using deposit collection equipment.

The Central Bank has said that it will accept deposits during the period of Posuh 1-8 (Dec 17-24).

It has been agreed that the balance would be divided by Rs 100 million in the minimum and Rs 50 million in the maximum so that the entire call amount may be discussed.

Negotiation will also be used to set the interest rate. It is possible to utilize it as collateral in banks and financial institutions other than the Central Bank.
