Journalist Mahendra Pandey passed away

KATHMANDU: A 53-year-old journalist Mahendra Prasad Pandey, resident of Resunga, Gulmi, has passed away.

He felt uneasy while attending a wedding ceremony on Thursday.

According to a family member, he died on the way to the hospital after vomiting during the wedding ceremony.

Pandey’s body has been placed to the University Teaching Hospital for autopsy.

The reason of death, according to doctors, will be determined following the autopsy.

Pandey was the previous Chair of the Gulmi Nepal Student Union and the editor of ‘Report Nepal’ online.

Pandey is survived by his wife and two daughters.
