KATHMANDU: The Kalimati Fruit and Vegetable Market Development Committee has announced revised prices for various produce slated for Friday.

Button mushrooms are now available at a reduced rate, with a decrease of 40 rupees per kilo.

Previously traded at 300 to 350 rupees per kg on Thursday, the updated prices range from 260 to 300 rupees today.

The cost of Nepalese big tomatoes has been fixed at 50 to 60 rupees per kg, compared to yesterday’s range of 45 to 55 rupees.

Local tomatoes are now priced at 15 to 20 rupees, while tunnel tomatoes are set at 20 to 30 rupees.

These adjustments aim to ensure fair pricing and accessibility for consumers in the Kalimati market.
