JBBL hands baby warmers to Jarbuta Health Post and Khadgabhanjyang Health Post

The Baby Warmer Machines, which are used to protect newborn infants and too ill newborns who require continuous nursing assistance, as well as babies being treated in cold conditions, from hypothermia, were donated by the bank's Surkhet branch and Ratmate branch offices.

KATHMANDU: Jyoti Development Bank Limited (JBBL) has established the ‘Our Development Enhancement Fund,’ through which it has provided domestically-manufactured Baby Warmers (Nanno Nani) to Surkhet-based Jarbuta Health Post and Khadgabhanjyang Health Post in Nuwakot, as a part of its institutional social responsibility initiative; the handover was conducted in a program organized under the presence of the bank’s CEO, Mr. Kapil Dhakal.

The Baby Warmer Machines, which are used to protect newborn infants and too ill newborns who require continuous nursing assistance, as well as babies being treated in cold conditions, from hypothermia, were donated by the bank’s Surkhet branch and Ratmate branch offices.

Mr. Kapil Dhakal, Chief Executive Officer of the bank, formally handed over the baby warmer to health assistant Amar Sunar of Health Post and Mr. Dipendra Raj Koirala, Ward Chair of Birendranagar Municipality Ward No. 13, Surkhet, during a ceremony held at Health Post Jarbuta.

The Baby Warmer was formally handed over during an event hosted at Khadgabhanjyang Health Post by different Jyoti Bikas Bank executives in the presence of authorities from the Health Post and other connected departments.

Furthermore, during the same program, physicians, nurses, and other hospital personnel received specific instruction on baby warmer operation from the innovation center’s health engineer.

The machine, which is used to keep the body temperature of newborn babies at a proper level, will directly benefit the customers who come to get maternity services at Khadgabhanjyang Health Post located in Bidur Municipality Ward No. 3 of Nuwakot District and Jarbuta Health Post located in Birendranagar Municipality Ward No. 13 of Surkhet District.
