Health services delivery needs 92,000 personnel
Stating that there is a need for skilled human resource, well-equipped buildings and equipment to provide health services to all, Minister Basnet said that limited resources have created workload for the ministry.
KATHMANDU: Minister for Health and Population (MoHP) Mohan Bahadur Basnet has said that at least 92,000 personnel are required to provide health services to the citizens in an easy and efficient manner.
Inaugurating the OPD Block of Masunaga Eye Hospital of Reyukai in Banepa Municipality-6 on Friday, Minister Basnet said that the health ministry under his leadership is trying to provide smooth service in the health sector.

This is because of due to budget deduction of the health ministry.
Executive Director of BP Koirala Lions Eye Study Center, Prof Dr. Sagun Joshi, Hospital Patron Hiroko Masunaga, Board Chair Madhu Acharya expressed happiness to see the service which started as a weekly clinic in Banepa Bazar in 2007 to spread across Kavre district as well as to Sindhupalchok and Dhanusha.
