KATHMANDU: The staging of the cultural drama ‘Bodhisattva’ based on the story of Buddhist philosophy has started at Kaushi Theater in Teku.
Conceived, written and directed by Chandman Munikar, the play has been staged since Mangsir 20 (Dec 6).
If a skilled potter comes into contact with a piece of glass clay, he will use it to make a variety of valuable things for life.
Similarly, the play attempts to demonstrate how a person on a terrible road can achieve knowledge, love, sacrifice, and compassion through the path of Bodhisattva and travel on the path of wellbeing for everyone.
Sudanaman Munikar, Sangita Thapa, Nanu Maiya Maharjan, Yuvahang Rai, Srijana Sharma, Anju Shrestha, Anisa Shrestha, Ajay Lama, Santosh Giri, Navin Kafle, and Akash Nepali feature in Bodhisattva, a drama adaption by Engihopo Kanich Sunuwar.
The play staged here from Mangsir 20 (Dec 6) till Poush 4 (Dec 20) will be staged every evening at 5 pm at Kaushi Theatre.
An additional show will be staged at 1 pm on Saturday.
