Price of gold fell for two days in a row, rose again

KATHMANDU: The price of gold in the Nepali market has increased again.

Gold prices rose Thursday after dipping for two consecutive days (Tuesday and Wednesday) despite remaining at a record high.

Chhapawal gold, which was trading at Rs 118,400 per tola on Wednesday, rose by Rs 200 today to Rs 118,600 per tola.

Tejabi gold tola is now trading at 118,050 rupees, according to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Traders.

Silver’s price has dropped by 20 rupees.

Silver is now priced at 1460 rupees per tola.
