Partial western wind influence in Nepal, possible temperature drop
Currently, there is partial to normal change in Koshi, Madhesh, and Bagmati states, as well as in the country's mountainous parts.
KATHMANDU: The Department of Hydrometeorology, Weather Forecasting Division has said that there is a partial influence of western winds in Nepal as well as the low pressure area located in the northern part of Telangana and southern part of Chhattisgarh in India.
Currently, there is partial to normal change in Koshi, Madhesh, and Bagmati states, as well as in the country’s mountainous parts.
According to the division, the weather in Koshi, Madhesh, and Bagmati States will stay clear today afternoon, with only light to moderate showers.
There is a chance of light rain in certain areas of Koshi State and snowfall in a few areas of the high highlands and Himalayas.
The temperature may decrease across the nation due to the influence of the western wind, therefore the department has asked everyone to take the appropriate steps to prevent its consequences.
