Husband held for murdering 40-year-old wife

KATHMANDU: Police arrested 45-year-old Dammar Sarki, a resident of Kumakh Rural Municipality-3 Upper Uchalne, on the charge of murdering his wife Sitala Sarki, 40, on Wednesday morning.

As soon as the news was received that Sitala died on the spot when Dammar hit her with a sharp weapon, the police stationed from the district police office Salyan and police station Dhorchaur arrested him.

The police are conducting necessary investigations in this regard.
