KATHMANDU: Five people were injured in a fire at Kawadi godown in Biratnagar on Wednesday.
Efforts are being made to put out a fire that broke out in the Kawadi godown at Saat Ghumti Chowk in Biratnagar.
The fire injured five persons, according to the Morang District Police Office.
According to DSP Ranjan Dahal, four individuals were injured in the incident and were sent to Neuro Hospital and Koshi Hospital for treatment. According to the authorities, no information on the injured has been released.
According to him, efforts are being made to control the fire with the help of 2 fire brigades of Biratnagar Metropolitan, 1 fire brigade of Sundarharaincha Municipality and Duhabi Municipality, local people and police.
According to Dahal, the fire has not been fully controlled yet.
