KATHMANDU: Red Bull production has resumed in Nawalparasi.

Red Bull Industry has been established in Nawalparasi with an investment of 2 billion.

After a four-and-a-half-year hiatus, Nepali Red Bull production has resumed.

The Khaitan Group has entered into an arrangement with the Thai Red Bull Company, registered the industry Saras Beverage Pvt. Ltd., and begun Red Bull production in Nepal.

The industry was inaugurated by Finance Minister Dr Prakash Sharan Mahat.

Dr. Yuvraj Khatiwada, Nepal’s then-Finance Minister, prohibited the import of all sorts of energy drinks four and a half years ago. Red Bull imports are currently prohibited.

According to Khaitan Group, Saras Beverages has opened an office in Dhunibesi, Dhading. Its manufacturing facility is located in Nawalparasi.

According to Khetan Group, 2 billion has been spent in the sector, with the intention of producing 10,000 kiloliters of juice each year.
