KATHMANDU: The Department of Hydrology and Meteorology has said that there is currently a partial effect of western winds in Nepal as well as the powerful storm ‘Michung’ in the central-western region of the Bay of Bengal and around Andhra Pradesh.

The afternoon will be partly overcast in Koshi, Madhesh, and Bagmati States, with the potential of light snowfall in certain high hills and Himalayan locations, according to the department. In the remainder of the nation, the weather will be clear at night in Koshi, Madhesh, Bagmati, and Gandaki.
