TEXAS, USA: Singer Asmita Adhikari has completed concerts in 12 cities in the United States.

The ‘USA First Musical Tour – Volume One’ concert took place in New York, Boston, Seattle, San Francisco, Dallas, Atlanta, Sacramento, Akron, Columbus, and Harrisburg.

The event began in Dallas, Texas on Oct 21 and concluded in Virginia on Nov 25 on the occasion of Nepal’s Dashain and Tihar.

Adhikari performed for the first time in America.

According to organizers, Asmita is the first Nepali female musician to perform in 12 cities throughout America in a single journey. The concert was jointly organized by Live at Presence, Planet Three Films, Koselli Events, Fuzon International.

All of the concerts, according to the organizers, were finished in 45 days. Programs were arranged in a short period of time at several places and world-class concert venues.

Every weekend, the Nepali-speaking diaspora population, second generation Nepalis, and even some foreign nationals attended the performances.

According to Sharad Yuvaraj Singh, one of the organizers, Asmita’s US concert was incredibly successful, with a fascinating show and positive response.

“In over a decade and a half of experience working in this field, we have found singer Asmita to be a gentle soul, friendly, well-mannered and a person who understands the Nepali diaspora community well”, Singh said, “She has established herself in a way that is very much in today’s music market. It is rare. We are proud to host his concert.” He said that he believed that Asmita had helped to bring Nepal closer to the Nepalese living in America.

Even though Asmita was away from the recent popular song ‘Kale Ketale’, she enthralled the audience with dozens of songs including Meso Milayera, Ram Ram Marauti, Uta Pareli Jhim Jhim Bho, Fulai Fula Dinchhau Ki.
