‘The London College’ commences operations at int’l level

KATHMANDU: ISMT Group of Colleges, which has a more than a decade-long educational history, has opened ‘The London College’ in Tinkune.

This group, which has been running world-class colleges in several major towns throughout Nepal in collaboration with the institution of Sunderland UK, has started ‘The London College’ in collaboration with another well-known institution in the UK, the ‘University of East London’.

The London College in Thinkune, Kathmandu, has begun accepting applications for the ‘January Intake’ in BSc Honors Computer Science. BSc Honors Computer Science has claimed to produce international level manpower according to the current demand of the Nepali market.

What’s the difference?

The London College’s teaching method will be innovative, utilizing cutting-edge technology. Its curriculum was developed by researching the types of skilled labor that are in demand in the market. The college places a premium on the students’ “well-being and well-being.” A contemporary system is used to evaluate students.

Students should convey what they have studied and read on a regular basis. It is becoming more practical, and such tasks help pupils identify their own strengths and weaknesses. The pupils are relieved of any mental tension caused by the three-hour exam.

Campus Managing Director Savita Pathak asserted that the college will produce students who can immediately compete with the experienced workforce working there when they go to the labor market after graduation. What’s the facility?

The college, which is affiliated with the world’s greatest universities, will give international standard education to Nepalese students at cheap costs. There is a contemporary library, an e-library, a computer lab, and clean and well-equipped classrooms.

There are ‘Refreshment Centers’ for extracurricular activities to keep pupils from becoming bored with their education. They will have access to amenities such as a guitar for music, a gym, a pool house, a cafe, and so on.

There is a ‘Student Service Department’ to help students with various issues. This department makes every effort to resolve student-related issues as soon as possible.

Counselors are available as needed for counseling students. The managing director of the campus, Pathak, says, ‘Foreign universities are providing services and facilities for students to produce quality manpower, we are also trying to provide the same services and facilities.’

Provision of special scholarships

The college has a special scholarship facility for students. It provides special scholarships in a variety of fields, including those who received excellent grades in class 12, excellent students from the lower middle class, students who excel in a particular field, and those who contribute to the nation in various ways (players, athletes).
