Woman killed in Tanahun truck accident; husband & two sons injured

KATHMANDU: A woman was killed after being struck by a truck  in Tanahun.

The accident injured the dead woman’s husband and two boys.

Sukhmaya BK, 26, of Bhimad Municipality-9 Thamdanda, perished in a collision with a truck, according to the District Police Office Tanahun.

A truck struck a motorbike traveling from Damauli to Pokhara on the Prithviraj Marg route part of Myagde Rural Municipality-6 Mauribazar, according to District Police Office Tanahun.

The incident with the truck wounded motorcyclist BK’s spouse Ramchandra BK, three-year-old son Suman, and six-year-old Gurans.

All three injured people are being treated at GP Koirala Respiratory Treatment Center.
