‘Maanish Harayeako Suchana’ being staged at Mandala Theater (photos)

KATHMANDU: The staging of the play ‘Maanish Harayeako Suchana’, performed by Jhyal Art and Blue Diamond Society, has started at Mandala Theater on Friday.
The play will be staged at Mandala Theater Thapagaon every day except Monday at 5:00 PM and Saturday at 1:00 PM from Mangsir 15 to 24 (Dec 1 to 10).
Amit Giri and Santosh Bista are co-directing Amit Giri’s play.
The play will include 13 actors, including Sabin Rai, Sonika Shahi Thakuri, Romash Rai Thakuri, Sneha Joshi, Saimon Thapa, and Deepak Koirala.
According to director and actor Santosh Bista, the play that tackled social themes attempted to depict the true issues of today’s society in an amusing manner.
The drama depicts individuals who are frightened to share their minds openly in society, people who have forgotten their existence, and the direct and indirect effect of family, society, and nation on people’s personal life.
Amit Giri, the writer and director said that the audience will also engage in the play like the characters of the play in the play ‘Maanish Harayeako Suchana’.
Giri has also urged the audience to observe the performance and provide criticism.
