KATHMANDU: Dr. Shekhar Koirala, head of the Nepali Congress, has stated that people are dissatisfied with the lack of willpower in the leadership of the major political parties.

Addressing the first district conference of Nepali Congress Nawalparasi West, leader Koirala said that people are extremely disappointed due to the conduct of the leaders.

He stated that it is critical to create optimism in the people and to send a message that our own leaders are capable of building the country.

Stating that the political party leaders have done good work for the country and democracy at some point in time, Koirala said, “Now they should respectfully leave the leadership to instill hope in the people and lead the country to a new path of prosperity.”

Leader Koirala also asked the workers to stop enjoying factionalism and sub-factionalism and do constructive work in favor of the people.
